  • Additional Driver charge of R175.00 per rental, per driver
  • Young Driver surcharge of R135.00 per driver , minimum age is 23, there is no maximum age.
  • Optional equipment (ie baby seats - R200.00 per rental)
    * refundable deposit of R450.00 required
  • One way drop off charge for RSA locals is levied for rental terminatingin excess of 150 kilometers from the original rental branch - ZAR700.00
    One way drop off charge for Namibia is levied for rental termintating in excess of 150 kilometers from the orginal rental branch -

    • 151 - 500 kilometers - ZAR1500.00
    • 501 - 1200 kilometers - ZAR 1800.00
    • 1201+ kilometers - ZAR3000.00
  • One way drop off International fees;
    • RSA to Swaziland - ZAR 600.00
    • RSA to Botswana - ZAR 800.00
    • RSA to Namibia - ZAR 4000.00
    • RSA to Lesohto - ZAR 600.00
    • Namibia to RSA - ZAR 4000.00
    • Namibia to Botswana - ZAR 4000.00

  • Delivery and Collection fees within 25kms : Office hours - R180.00, After hours - R380.00
  • Contract fee of R40.00
  • Traffic Fine Handling Fee of R180.00 per fine
  • Claim Handling Fee of R350.00
  • No show fee is the equivalent of 1 days rental (based on extension rates)
  • Water and under-carriage damage to vehicles.
  • Windscreen, tyre and rim damage .
  • Hubcaps.

Note:

  • Rate code and account number must be specified at time of reservation and stipulated on the voucher. Failure to advise these details will result in incorrect billing which cannot be rectified later.
  • Extension rates apply when the renter extends the rental beyond the voucher days or with Diesel Car Hire directly.
  • Diesel Car Hire reserves the right to replace vehicle models with similar specifications.
  • Group S only available in Cape Town. No one ways permitted.
